Kenny Mackay was the toast of Galabank in this reserve league fixture bagging 4 goals. Right from the off MacKay made a solo darting run to put Annan ahead in 40 seconds. He then added a second in the 15th minute when he cut in from the right and finished with a clinical shot. Steven Black made the third goal in the 37th minute laying the ball into Scott Davidson who slipped the ball into the corner of the net.
Mackay started the second half with a goal inside 60 seconds when he slid the ball over the line from a fine Jordan Moffat cross and made it 5-0 in the 50th minute when Steven Sloan released the striker who calmly lofted the ball over the advancing keeper from 15 yards. MacKay was then withdrawn in the 55th minute to make way for Jamie Johnstone. Scott Davidson got his second of the evening in the 80th minute with a good low strike from 15 yards
